Spain sacks Catalan police chief as Madrid exerts control
MADRID/BARCELONA (Reuters) - Spain has sacked the chief of Catalonia's regional police force, Josep Lluis Trapero, as the government in Madrid takes control of the autonomous region to block its push for independence.
